I own a silver '89 BMW 316I 4door. The mags are 16" Evo-R's with 205/45/16 tyres. My audio system consist of a Sony XRC 410 head unit (with remote & custome filing), Sony CDX U404 10 disk shuttle (with ESP), DAWA 600W 4channel reference amp, Calibra 2 channel active crossover, JBL 5.25c split system (front stage), 2x Pioneer premier 10" free-air subs, California 6x9 250w (rear fill).

The R/Tape remote is fitted to the steering weel console and the 5.25 split system (rated at 110W RMS) is in the factory fitted 5.25 footpannels, with the tweeters mounted on the dashboard. Moving to the back you'll find the shuttle located on the left side mounted next to the subs with the two 10" Pioneer free-air subs (rated at 300W RMS per sub) fitted from underneath the window tray. The subs are mounted in this way to give more boot space and also look hidden from view if you open the boot, giving it a nicer look. Behind the back seat is the DAWA reference amp together with the Calibra cross-over. The power cable runs through a fuse holder fitted in the bonnet to a splitter-box fitted in the boot. The same goes for the earth cable. The cables are both 4 gage which splits to 8 gage cables. The 6x9's are mounted on the back window tray - with a lot of cutting and hammering they were fitted and a port hole for the sub's was created.
